An Exercise in Restraint

I created this book as the final project for my Typography II class. It features an excerpt from Stephen Chibosky and the essay "The Crystal Goblet" by Beatrice Warde. Both of these pieces of writing address the relationship between the artist (the photographer and designer, respectively) and the content of the art. The design of my book reflects this by gradually having the designer’s role become more and more visible.
